Job description:
- Occupational health and safety consultant;
- Development of safe and technical work procedures (ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management system);
- Project management in collaboration with internal client resources;
- Encourage a proactive attitude in OHS and share the values and vision of CBSST on a daily basis;
- Achievement and drafting of prevention activities (prevention programs, risk analysis, inspection report, and recommendations);
- Develop relevant training activities or needs, define or deliver various training programs;
- Take part in updating the company’s strategy in its long-term vision;
- Develop and contribute to business development through networking and involvement in various promotional events;
- Execution of rigorous work offering professionalism and added value to clients, as well as to the organization.
Required profile
Qualification :
-
University degree in engineering or relevant occupational health and safety certificate.
Experience and Skills :
- 3 to 5 years of experience in related functions;
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and laws (required);
- Knowledge of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 / ISO45001 and ISO9001 standards (required);
- Experience in project management (an asset);
- Business development skills (an asset);
- Experience in the fields of consulting or the industrial sector (manufacturing, agrifood, or mining).
Location:
- Office located in Chambly;
- Possibility of teleworking.
Languages :
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English;
- Advanced level (an asset).
Transportation:
- Plan trips to the greater Montreal area to support clients;
- Plan occasional trips in the province of Quebec.
